The number of diabetics in Japan was 1.5 million in the middle of 1960's. It means the number of diabetics quadrupled in the last 20 years. Future of Banaba

It is important paying attention to diet and exercises before you become diabetes. Banaba is not widely known in Japan yet, but it has more than 1,000 years of history in the Southeast Asian countries such as the Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. In these countries, banaba tea has been drunk for prevention of diabetes and health maintenance. In this modern time called age of gluttony, we need to listen to “Asian wisdoms.” At present, banaba is ingested just as tea and dietary supplement. We would like to make good use of banaba for prevention of life style related diseases by adding banaba to various foods.
